2011/2012 Winter Service Program
Outboard Engines
BASIC- The minimum requirements for your engine to be stored for the winter months as per manufactures specifications. Includes: Stabilize fuel system, Run stabilized through boat fuel system, flush engine with fresh water, Run engine on special winter fuel mixture, internal engine fogging, change lower unit oil, spray engine with anti corrosion lubricant, drain all fuel and water systems (where applicable)
COMPLETE- All of the above PLUS: Check cylinder compression, Scope and visibly inspect cylinders, Torque cylinder head bolts, Replace spark plugs, Replace all seasonal service engine fuel filters, Replace boat water separating fuel filter, Remove and service oxygen sensor (where applicable), Run engine to operating temperature and check all systems, Connect Diagnostics computer and run computer diagnostics, check all sensors, Grease all fittings and cables, grease propeller shaft and steering, touch up paint on skeg and propeller, Relplace all external zincs/anodes

Includes: Changed outdrive oil, flush engine with fresh water, Run engine on special winter fuel mixture (where applicable), drain engine cooling system and fill with non toxic anti freeze, spray engine compartment with anti corrosion lubricant
COMPLETE- All of the above PLUS: Change engine oil and filter, Outdrive removal and winter storage, Replace outdrive water pump, Pressure and vacuum test, Relplace any failing seals, check and service universal joints, clean and paint outdrive, Internal water passage anti fouling (where applicable), Replace all external zincs/anode, Reinstall outdrive in the spring, Test run and check cooling
