Key West story or American Marine experience.
Gentlemen, I have finally found time to sit down and express my thoughts about your organization.
I originally had a center console fishing boat that I loved, but unfortunately it wasn't really a family orientated type of boat. When I came across your dual console model, at the boat show in March, my wife and I took an interest in the platform. After our discussion with you, I then decided to purchase the boat.
As Keith may remember, my wife didn't look too enthusiastic about my decision at the time; However, I must tell you, it’s one of the best decisions I've made in my life. The boat is the perfect, dual purpose family and fishing platform. It's ability to seat 10 people comfortably and to have family and friends on a smooth riding platform, even in the worst weather is amazing! The hard top truly makes the boat perfect the perfect vessel for comfort and shade.
I also want to express my appreciation for your " no pressure " sales approach and professionalism, which is rare in the marketplace today.
We encountered a situation when we first received the boat; However, Keith stepped up right away and brought it back to me on Sunday morning, when I am sure he would have rather spent time with his family. I haven't seen an organization go beyond the scope of what is " fair and reasonable " in a warranty or sales situation.
My family has fully enjoyed this boat all summer long. The boat has brought my wife and I closer together. She is excited and can't wait for the next boating season; She is always on it cleaning, and washing and doing whatever is necessary.
Let me express my gratitude, once again, and keep up the great work. We will have years of a relationship going forward; You have a great business, please keep doing it
Thanks for the joy!

Last winter I had a Key West 225 cc that was a good boat, and I was not overtly looking for a new boat, but I had in mind that I needed something that could better handle the wind against tide conditions of Moriches Inlet, the South Race of Robbins Island and The Race at Jessups Neck.
I happened to be in your area and I saw the new 239 FS on your lot. I was immediately impressed with the variable deadrise and the stepped hull design. I had 6 boats since 1990 and not exactly a neophyte to boating. I asked for a price and the trade in value of my 225. The result was within my reach and I decided to buy the 239 FS. My buying experience with you guys was professional and exceptional.
Although the length of the 239 vs. the 225 does not appear substantial, the performance is. The marine engineers at Key West really got it right as this boat handles the sea conditions described very well. Keep in mind that this is only a 23ft. 9in. boat and you have to pick your days and not be reckless.
With the European style transom, which allowed a livewell near the transom and a bench seat, the fiberglass hardtop, the powder coated aluminum frame, and the recessed bow rails, the pull up cleats, the engineers did their homework. With 6 boats since 1990, which included 2 Hydrasports, 3 Grady White's and the 225 Key West, this is by far the best boat of all. See attached picture.
I can't wait to get back in the water in April.
From the first time I walked into your shop you have been a gentleman and still continue to be a fantastic business man. If you ever need any form of recommendation I will be glad to do so.
